Our practice

24/7 response for trees that won’t wait.

Storm damage, fallen limbs on cars, trees leaning on houses — these don’t wait for business hours. Our after-hours crews are on call seven days, responding across the North Shore through westerlies, summer storms, and winter southerlies.

Typical response for urgent hazards is under an hour. We make the tree safe first, then write up the insurance paperwork so your claim moves quickly.

Three recent notes from North Shore families we worked with.

5 out of 5 stars

Storm took out half our liquidambar Thursday night. Called first thing Friday, they had someone here before lunch. Blocked the driveway off, cleared the debris, left it tidy. Sent the quote through before they started which I appreciated.

5 out of 5 stars

Turpentine came down across the driveway at about 11 at night in that big storm. Rang them, bloke was here within the hour and a half. Fair enough given the time, and they sorted it. Driveway was usable by the morning.

Pete N.

Beecroft

5 out of 5 stars

Had a huge gum leaning over the back of the house that we'd been worried about for ages. John came out, talked us through the options, and his crew had it down in a morning. Fair price and they swept the deck on the way out which was a nice touch.

Questions

Emergency response — frequently asked.

  • Typical response under 60 minutes for urgent hazards across the North Shore. Response times blow out during multi-site storm events — we prioritise by severity (trees on houses first, trees on cars second, access hazards third).

  • Trees or limbs down on structures, vehicles, or access. Trees leaning on houses after ground saturation. Limbs tangled in power lines. Large branches hung up after a storm. When in doubt, call — we triage by phone.

  • After-hours attendance fee is typically $250–$450 depending on distance and time of day. The removal work itself is costed on the same size-based schedule as scheduled work. The fee is quoted upfront when you call.

  • Yes. We photograph the tree and damage before work starts, during work, and after completion. You get a written incident report you can hand straight to your insurer. It's included in the call-out — no extra charge.

  • North Shore councils allow retrospective TPO notifications for genuine emergencies — typically within 14 days of the work. We photograph and document the hazard extensively on arrival so you (or a consulting arborist) have everything needed to lodge the retrospective notice with council.

03

Hornsby Shire

Hornsby Shire covers the northern end of the train line from Beecroft through Hornsby and up to Mount Kuring-Gai, bordering Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. It's a high-canopy bushland interface council with extensive tree controls and asset protection zone requirements.

7 suburbs

04

Ryde District

The Ryde district straddles the Parramatta River from Gladesville through to North Ryde, all under City of Ryde Council. The area mixes mid-century residential with Macquarie Park commercial precincts and river-frontage properties.
